Questions
Plain answers
What grieving.guide is, what it will not do, and who is behind it.
Is this bereavement counselling?
No. It is a place to think and talk things through. It is not counselling, therapy or a crisis service, and it will not diagnose anything.
Can I grieve something that is not a person?
Yes. A job, a way of life, a place, a version of the world you thought you knew. This guide treats that grief as real.
How long should grief take?
There is no correct length. If, after a long time, you still cannot function day to day, talk to your doctor.
Who is behind it?
James Roberts, who spent nearly twenty years headhunting in travel and hospitality. The chat is an SI (super intelligence) guide written in his voice. It is not James replying live.
Is it free?
Reading is free, and you get ten free conversations a day. Membership at contented.guide opens every guide in the network and keeps a private record of what you write.
What if grief has become not wanting to be here?
Contact your local emergency services or a crisis line now. The safety page lists the routes. That is not a conversation for a website.
